Accounting Assistant

We are a growing service and fabrication company and we are looking to add another accounting position to our staff. We would like to schedule an interview with you at your earliest convenience. We are looking to hire an experienced accounting associate. Minimum of two years’ experience in accounts receivable, or billing. Must have good typing and phone skills. Must be able to stay on task with minimal supervision. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains would be helpful but is not required. We offer a competitive wage based on qualifications. This is a full time position depending on qualifications of the successful candidate.

Job Description:

The Accounting Associate will provide accounting and finance services in support of the organization's business objective. It is essential for this role to provide strong customer service to internal and external customers and relay information to management through appropriate reports.

  • Responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services and to ensure accuracy and efficiency of operations.
  • Perform verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data
  • Verify discrepancies
  • Respond to and resolve clients’ billing issues and questions
  • Prepare and manage bills, invoices and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger
  • Prior experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role helpful
  • Very good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures in a timely manner
  • Proficient data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Experience with operating spreadsheets helpful
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Responsible for answering phone for either AM or PM and directing calls to appropriate staff.

Fabrication Supervisor

Job Description:

A Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for completing the following duties:

  • Safety - Provide consistent leadership by ensuring safety rules, policies, procedures and processes are followed
  • Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost/Productivity.
  • Plan, supervise and be responsible for all production activities in assigned plant.
  • Obtain help from supporting departments for such things as tooling, equipment selection, plant layout, labor relations, cost data, safety and quality control to effectively carryout duties.
  • Plan and schedule work to meet completion date.
  • Inspect quality of work performed within the department to insure quality standards and accurate counts.
  • Maintain discipline and efficiency in department.
  • Maintain accurate records as required for the efficient operations of the shop.
  • Candidate will need to be able to work 1st shift and some Saturdays.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years knowledge and experience in Fabrication manufacturing processes preferred
  • Welding knowledge, and blueprint reading required
  • Prior Supervisory experience a plus, but will consider individuals with supervisory interests and extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to work under pressure of time and resource constraints
  • Must possess workflow and organizational skills; be self-motivated, a problem solver; and effectively direct, supervise and motivate assigned employees
  • Must possess strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

Manure Handling Specialist

Job Description:

A Manure Handling Specialist is responsible for completing the following duties:

  • Operate manure application and pump equipment safely and properly
  • Lead the application of manure by directing overall workflow of operations based on field readiness
  • Ensure proper rate of manure is applied

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Agriculture industry or knowledge of farm operations is a must.
  • Fabrication and welding experience is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of product line, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Class A CDL preferred or willing to obtain.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
  • Excellent attention to details.

  • Must be able to perform detailed inspections and use appropriate measuring tools to ensure quality.
  • Must have ability to stand, bend, squat, or kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Must have an excellent understanding of safety practices and procedures in a fabricating environment.
  • Must have ability to work well with others or alone and stay on task.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift 50 to 100 pounds.
